On Thursday, 23.11.2017, in the hours 12.00 – 14.00 in the Podlaskie Voivodeship Marshal’s Office took place a debate devoted to Renewable Energy Sources in rural areas. Its aim was an increase the awareness of rural residents about the potential for using renewable energy. In the role of one of the experts, as a long-term practician of RES, Pawel Wyszynski has performed. Apart from him, there were also present Stefan Krajewski- a member of the Podlaskie Voivodeship Board, dr inz. Malgorzata Smuczynska- RES practician, Michal Frydrych – representative of the Voivodeship Environment Protection Fund and Marcin Muszyc from the National Rural Network. The debate was led and moderated by prof. dr hab. inz. Maciej Zajkowski from Bialystok Technical University.

The meeting was an opportunity to learn about rational ways to use renewable energy sources and it created conditions to form own opinions about individual technologies. During the debate various issues such as the future of the energy market were discussed and recent achievements and solutions related to the use of RES, with particular emphasis on prosumer energy, were presented.

The organizer of the project was the Regional Secretariat of the National Rural Network.

More than 60 of podlaskie municipalities with co-financing for photovoltaics and solar collectors

The largest subsidies for the use of solar energy, which are photovoltaic installations and solar collectors on the homes of the inhabitants will go to the Mońki commune – 1.59 million PLN, the Czeremcha commune – 1.55 million PLN, but also to Zambrow – 1.49 million PLN and to Augustow – 1,47 million PLN. The Board of the Podlaskie Voivodeship has just approved the first list of projects for co-financing. By the end of November, contracts with beneficiaries should be signed.
The first list of projects includes the results of the projects evaluation in terms of using the solar energy. This list includes 62 investments of podlaskie self-governments. Their total value is 109.2 million PLN. The subsidy from RPOWP amounts 70.3 million PLN.
In response to the contest from Measure 5.1 Energetics based on renewable energy sources more than 360 applications for co-financing were received. This is the record in terms of number of applications submitted in the current and the previous program.
Within the framework of the competition, grants for the implementation of various types of RES projects were available:
· Energetics based on renewable energy sources (renewable energy: solar energy).
· Energetics based on renewable energy sources (use of renewable energy for own needs).
· Investments in the field of construction of new units or increasing power of units of generating electricity and heat from RES with connection to the distribution / transmission network.
· Projects on the development of the productive infrastructure of biocomponents and biofuels.
The applicants could have been, among others, local governments, entrepreneurs, agricultural producers and producer groups, community and housing associations, non-governmental organizations.
Other projects are still being evaluated. Subsequent results will be known in December 2017 (construction and increasing power of units of generating electricity from RES and manufacturing infrastructure of biocomponents and biofuels) and in March 2018 (using RES for own needs).

Drilling works in Turosn Koscielna Commune are continued

In connection with the realization of the project “Modernization of individual heat or electric energy sources in Turosn Kościelna Commune” OPTIMA POLSKA is currently carrying out the first stage of investment realization consisting in making the bore drillings for the heat pumps.
The lungs of the installation with the ground heat pump is the lower heat source. The quality of the execution of installation of the lower heat source is of great importance for the correct and efficient operation of such a pump. Properly made lower heat source for ground heat pumps will be optimally, efficiently and safely operated for many years, without problems such as freezing of the soil or breakthrough of aquifers. Before acceding to this stage, it is important to optimal measure of the the lower heat source, i.e. to estimate the number and length of probes. We therefore pay special attention to the quality of the execution of this very important element of installation, because the heat pump is the heart of the heating system, but its lungs is the lower heat source!

OPTIMA POLSKA will install 38 ground source heat pumps in the Turosn Koscielna Commune! Exactly as many single family houses will have its own independent source of heat.

On Friday, August 25th, the company has signed a contract for the realization of the project “Modernization of individual heat or electric energy sources in Turosn Koscielna Commune”. Start of the implementation of the task will start in September 2017 and its completion will take place with the end of November 2017.

Total capacity of installed heat pumps will be 446 kW. Thanks to that, 38 households will use the heat resources contained in the land. The investment is co-financed from the Regional Operational Program of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. Homeowners were obliged to pay only 15% of the value of the investment. These are first heat pumps in the commune, which will be installed by the participation of local government and EU funds.

The selection of the heat pump system was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire completed by the building owner, technical intelligence and information and technical materials of widely available heat pump producers and own elaborations. The adopted ideological solution envisages a reduction in the costs of the residential building resulting from the generation of heat energy and its consumption for central heating and domestic hot water. Cost reduction will occur as a result of using a renewable energy source system based on a ground source heat pump. The design assumes a reduction in the use of thermal energy in the building by using the heat produced in Linde’s thermodynamic circulation, and thus the partial replacement of energy obtained from conventional sources with the energy of the land. So obtained energy will be used to prepare the heat needed for heating the building and supplying it with hot water.

As Grzegorz Jakuc emphasizes, the mayor of Turosn Koscielna, the interest in this kind of renewable energy source among the inhabitants was very large. The potential factor of this investment is unmatched and allows for huge energy and financial savings.

For the contractor – OPTIMA POLSKA – this is not the first such a big contract in Podlaskie Voivodeship, although it is also the first one when it comes to heat pumps and the largest in Poland. – The Turosn Koscielna Commune is aware of issues related to the low carbon economy and for that purpose will mount such a number of pumps, which will undoubtedly be the beginning of further actions in this direction. I would like to remind you that ground source heat pumps have the highest energy efficiency rating of A +++ and there are no heating devices on the market that exceed this parameter. In the future, each user thanks to the investment in a heat pump, will also be able to produce electricity using photovoltaic cells, among others for the needs of the pump compressor work. This is the only right way to energy independence of single family houses – points Pawel Wyszynski, Renewable Energy Sources Project Director.

The holiday period in our company is also the time of implementation of activities planned within the framework of the project: “Energetic modernization of buildings complex in the Commune of Szelkow”. Currently in addition to doing geothermal wells by innovative GRD method (bottom source for heat pumps), replacement of windows and central heating installations is carried out. OPTIMA POLSKA has signed an agreement with the Commune of Szelkow in may this year.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Regional Operational Program for the years 2014-2020 Measure 4.2 Energy Efficiency.
Its main goal is a comprehensive energy modernization of public utilities and thus an improvement of energy efficiency and reduction of pollutant emissions and heating costs.

We are very pleased to inform you that the first place and the title of the Champion of Podlaska Agroliga 2017 in a farmers category went to our clients – Wioletta and Radoslaw Budlewski from Wojny Pietrasze in Szepietowo. Pawel Wyszynski, the owner of OPTIMA POLSKA and the vice – champion of Podlaska Agroliga 2016, congratulated and funded the award to the winners. Budlewski family have a 95 hectare farm, which is dedicated to the production of pigs in a closed cycle. They have a hundred sows and they sell 2500 pigs per year. The “Karczma pod Sokolem” from Sokolka led by Izabela and Lukasz Ancypo won in a company category – they put on meat products and delicatessen.
The provincial Agroliga final was settled on Wednesday, 5 July, in the Podlaskie Voivodeship Office. Eight farmers and five companies fought for a champion title. Champions of Podlaska Agroliga will be representing our voivodeship at national level. Once again congratulations to the winners!

Today, two students of the School of Commerce and Economic in Bialystok, has started a monthly internship in our company. Two another apprentices under a frame of the same project will appear in the company at the end of July. The main goal of the internship is application and deepening of knowledge and skills learned by students at school in real working conditions. During the implementation of the internship program, students will improve their skills of performing specific tasks at individual work places.
Thanks to internships at OPTIMA POLSKA, students have the opportunity to get to know closer our company, its employees and the specific of the work in the renewable energy industry. It is important that young people have the opportunity to gain a unique experience and knowledge during the realization tasks and projects they will face during their internship.
The internships are organized according to the project “The School of Commerce and Economics for its pupils for the competitiveness of the Podlasie economy” implemented within the framework of the Podlaskie Voivodeship Operational Program for the years 2014-2020, PRIORITY AXIS III COMPETENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS, ACTION 3.3 Vocational education of young people for the competitiveness of the Podlasie economy.

The summary of Italian students’ internships in OPTIMA company

Beatrice and Luca, students of the Italian vocational school, today have completed a four-week practice under Erasmus + program in our company. As a leader of the renewable energy industry, we had a pleasure to acquaint them with the latest technological developments related to the ecological heating systems. They had a possibility, among others, to work with photovoltaic installations and to acquaint with the work of modern drilling rig (Geodrill 4R) which does boreholes for heat pumps in GRD technology.
The involvement of trainees evaulates very well Pawel Wyszynski, the owner of OPTIMA POLSKA. As he claims, the students was actively involved in the work of the company and in the implementation of tasks they were entrusted with. They cared to learn as much as possible. They were very nice and very disciplined. In turn, the trainees confirm that they appreciated an opportunity to benefit from the vast experience and knowledge of the company’s employees.
We hope that the internship in OPTIMA POLSKA will allow young Italians to plan their careers and will facilitate the setting of professional preferences that will decide in the future on success.
